dc.description.abstractThis research work look into the place of women and the term feminism in Africa H tries to bring about these two important topics by examining Buchi Emecheta’s the Joys of Motherhood. The review of various works on place of African women and feminism has been used to emphasize on the topics. The right and freedom which African women lack, and their cry for a change in this system is what the research seeks to unravel. This will be carried out to portray Buchi Emecheta as a writer who celebrates feminism with the spirit of commoners living with their rights.
