T The study was carried out to compare the academic performance of primary five pupils in Almajiri Integrated model schools and Conventional primary schools in sokoto state. The sample size used was 339 which consist of 278 primary five pupils and 61 Teachers for both Almajiri integrated model schools and conventional Primary schools in Sokoto State. Two instruments were used for data collection are Questionnaire for Teachers (QFT) and Academic Performance Test (APT) for pupils. The data was arranged and analyzed according to the three research questions and the two formulated hypotheses. Data collected for research questions were analyzed using means and standard deviation scores, while the Hypotheses were tested with t-test The results revealed that there was a significant difference between the two groups of pupils (p-value = 0.00; α- value= 0.05), with pupils in conventional primary schools performing slightly better on Islamic and Conventional subjects, than their counterparts in almajiri integrated schools. The findings shows Teachers of conventional schools are more qualified than their counterparts in Almajiri integrated model schools. The major Recommendation is that the curriculum of Almajiri system of education should be reconstructed to cater for conventional subjects, and adequate fund should be made available by the Government to revive these Schools for full Integration.
