Errors in the Use of English Determiners and Spellings in the Daily Trust Newspaper 2016

Abstract

This study is on wrong use of English determiners and spellings in Daily Trust. The aim of this research work is to investigate the wrong use of English determiners and spellings in Daily Trust Newspaper (2016). The data has been collected through manual collection of Newspapers from an approved vendor. The investigation carried out in this research shows that the wrong use of English determiners in the Daily Trust Newspaper is high. At the end of the work, recommendations were given that, there should be thorough editing of the papers before publication.
