Abstract
The research was carried to evaluate the nutritional and mineral values of Indian lmond (Terminalia Catappa), Pawpaw (Carica Papaya) and Guava (Psidium Guajava) seeds. The research was carried out using several laboratory techniques and spectroscopic analysis (AAS). The seeds according to the results obtained from the research were found to contain good amount of nutrient, energy and minerals. Indian Almond, being the richest of the three in nutrient also contains the highest amount of oil (47.5 ± 0.10) among other nutrients. Pawpaw seeds was found to be the richest of the three samples in carbohydrate (15.4 ± 0.686) and Guava seeds on the other hand were found to be the richest in fibre (57.0 ± 0.28) among other nutrients.
